Fuentes de Nerja is a centrally situated private complex very close to Nerja's Torrecilla Beach, one of two beaches in Nerja to have been awarded a Blue Flag. The Torrecilla Beach area is fast becoming as popular as that of Burriana Beach, with the added advantage of only being a few minutes' stroll from the town centre itself. There is an abundance of good bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as some excellent shops.

The Fuentes development itself ('fuente' means 'fountain') is a moderately-sized complex of low rise one and two bedroom apartments, located within a safe gated area, complete with gardens, fountains and a large communal pool. Each building is served by a lift, making it suitable for children, the elderly or the disabled, although there is no wheelchair access as such.

The accommodation is made up of two bedrooms (one double and one twin), one full bathroom and a second shower room. The kitchen facilities include cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine. The comfortable and stylishly furnished living and dining area is equipped with a TV and stereo, and from here patio doors lead onto an east-facing terrace which enjoys sea views.
